Our Pledge

We understand that keeping it simple means keeping it profitable - particularly in an industry like web hosting. And we do this in six ways - the common-sense approach to web hosting.  This is our pledge to you:

Simple packages.

We understand that web hosts offer too many packages with not enough feature differentiation. So that's why for our shared hosting packages, we offer only three options by standard - personal, reseller and business - with clear choices between operating systems and clearly-defined features.

The personal touch.

Most of our customers would be quite happy to tell you that we're not a cold-hearted web host who only deal with customers when they have to.  We actively contact customers just to see how their experience is going. What's more, we're large enough to provide hosting customers with security of service, but small enough for our customers to be able to chat with the company's directors.

Support our customers.

We reckon that it's a basic right for all hosting customers to receive 24 hour, 7 days a week ticket-desk support. We also provide 9 AM - 5 PM (GMT) support, Monday to Saturday, via telephone. And yes, that's not just an automated service line or just for "minor enquiries".  In most cases, we can fix your issue over the telephone.

Don't discriminate.

We don't think there's any difference between new and existing customers - that's why our offers are available to both.

Don't charge for the basics.

We consider in a market which is considered "mature", that having the right to have your site hosted in the UK if you live here, and the right to choose freely between operating systems without being stung by cost are a must. That's why we don't charge extra for those services.

Get the price right.

We don't pretend to be the cheapest in the market - but we're certainly not the most expensive. We believe in charging you fairly for our hosting. In an average month, 80% of our revenue is absorbed into costs such as 24 hour support services, and re-investment into equipment so that your web hosting experience is improved. This gives customers added security because they know that we won't disappear overnight and their service keeps getting better.

Social Responsibility

You might have noticed that our parent company, the iFuse Group, has a social responsibility policy, which guides all of its operations. That also includes the operations that we at iFuse Hosting conduct, too. This includes:

Charitable causes.

The good people at the iFuse Group believe that a business has responsible not only to its shareholders, but also society - so they decided to pledge £1 in every £5 of profit to charity.

The environment.

You'll notice that, from now onwards, any correspondence you receive from us via post will look brown and a bit dirty. Well, that's because all our paper is over 80% recycled and is not bleached, because bleaching is bad for the environment. Additionally, all our staff members are compensated for using environmentally-friendly transport methods when conducting company business.

Enterprise promotion.

We also believe in promoting enterprise to young people. One of our directors regularly visits local schools to talk to their students about going into business. Also, we're committed to the National Enterprise Week scheme, to which we are an ambassador.
